Who's
in charge
The participating teams take turns in court
command. The match day's programme indicates which team is in charge for
the day. In order to come to a consistent operation, the relevant tasks
have been listed here below.
Tasks
The court command team ensures:
- courts to be installed prior to the first match
- matches to start on time (quick progress)
- to invite a replacement referee in case of absence of the listed
referee, in order to avoid any delay
Progress
- The first match has a set starting time
- Every next match starts within 10 minutes after the previous one
has ended
- Court command and referee take the initiative to a quick start
of the match
- Warming up (to avoid injuries) must be allowed on a free court
or in the facility's hallways
After the matches
- collect/store supporting equipment
- take down the fields
- remove litter from the hall
- take found items to the reception desk
The following equipment has been arranged
- Supporting equipment: pens, match forms, rules of play
- Courts: nets, antennae, referee chairs, score boards, court numbers
Borrowing players from other teams
- An incidental shortage of players may be compensated by borrowing
a player from a team that plays on a lower level (lower rank within
the same group or lower group; based on situation at the start of
the day)
- The last team in the group may borrow players from any other team
in the same group
- Prior to adding the borrowed player to the team, this player's
identity and original team must be conveyed to the referee and the
opponent team.
Absence of teams
The team that registered for the league must play
the matches. If a team has less than 6 players, participants can be
borrowed from other teams. A team that doesn't show up will be fined
EUR 30,00 and has lost the match with 2x 25-0. The idea behind this
is that everyone has payed and counts on playing volleyball. The absent
team eliminates this expectation and disappoints the other teams.
Use of the sports hall
The hall playgrounds may only be entered wearing
trainers; these cannot have black soles. Shoes that have been worn outside
are not allowed on the playgrounds. Consumption of food and drinks is
not allowed on the playgrounds.
